WellBatavia to feature the Race to Market - Opening Day 5K

Batavia MainStreet, in partnership with the WellBatavia Festival, will host the second annual Race to Market- Opening Day 5K in downtown Batavia on Saturday, June 2. It is the opening day of the 23rd year of the Batavia Farmers' Market.

Experienced or novice, young or old, walkers or runners - everyone will enjoy this beautiful 5K loop around the Fox River both beginning and ending on North River Street.

Prizes will be awarded in these age categories for best male and female: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49. and 50 and older.

Race fees are $30 preregistered by Friday, June 1, and $35 on race day. There also is a student rate of $25 at any time. Participants have the option to pick up their race packets and shirts on at 4 p.m. June 1 or on-site at 6:30 a.m. June 2.
