Minority rule and racism

So the Lake County Forest Preserve District president used his authority to, as a minority of one, cancel annual Civil War Days. Then he says he believes it "has run its course," and "re-enactment over the enslavement of African Americans was a historical event some people do not want to revisit." Gee, thank you Mr. Kyle, for deciding for me and all Lake County residents what's best for us and accusing us of racism. You don't know me, nor do you know the vast majority of Lake County residents, regardless their color. As a minority of one, using that same power, I direct you to resign. Shame on you. Go away.
