Wheeling High School Marching Band ended the 2016 season on a high note!

Despite very soggy conditions at the Prospect Marching Knight of Champions Festival, the Marching Wildcats took 1st place in class AA division and were 2nd overall. They also took home caption awards for best overall music, best visual, and best auxiliary. This past weekend at the Marengo Settlers Day Parade and Competition, they marched their way into everyone's hearts by claiming 1st place parade, 1st place class AAA field show, & Grand Champions! The Wildcats also took home best marching, best woodwinds, best brass, best percussion and best auxiliary caption awards. Congratulations to the 2016 Wheeling High School Marching Band and Director Michael Malek on an award winning season!
