Russia is not our friend

We have to ask ourselves why Putin wanted to get Donald Trump elected president. It's very clear in 2016 that every effort in cyber warfare was made by the Russians to block Hillary.

When in the KGB, Putin has said "you can't beat the West from the outside but you can from the inside." His goal in 2016 was to undermine our electoral process. Try and divide our country like never before.

This was a big win for the Russians. Putin wants to bring back the USSR and gain world power again.

Trump seems to be unaware what the Russians are doing and instead is encouraging them to do it again. When asked in Japan if he would tell Putin not to meddle in the U.S. election he made it seem like a joke.

In the past, Russians used a cyber attack against Estonia that shutdown their country for a while. They have recently taken took over Crimea and large portions of Eastern Ukraine.

This is the way shadow wars are fought and won by staying below the threshold of a shooting war, they are meant to push just far enough to accomplish their goal with little to no repercussions.

We need to be united as a country against this Russian aggression instead we are divided even though our entire intelligent agencies have told us the Russians meddled in 2016 election our President is in denial. When will the Republican Party start to stand up to this President and say enough?

It's time the U.S. and NATO take steps to stop all forms of Russian aggression?
