A tax kleptocracy
Living in St. Charles IL, we know gas prices will be higher than elsewhere in America. Of course, some of the reason is local, state, sales and gas taxes. However, it can be insulting to travel to Beloit, Wisconsin, and pay $3.29 per gallon and in our area $4.39. Why is this the case?
How can our prices be so much different at a distance of 66 miles? Something is wrong, I want to hear someone explain this. Now on July 1, our IL gas tax go up again. We live in a kleptocracy in Illinois.
