Elgin man charged with sexually assaulting two children

A 52-year-old Elgin man has been charged with sexually assaulting two children younger than 13, according to a news release from the Kane County state's attorney's office.

Jose L. Dominguez, of the 0-99 block of Pioneer Park Place, was charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault of a child and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, according to the release.

Authorities say he knew both of the victims.

Dominguez's bail was set at $1 million, and if he posts $100,000 bond he won't be allowed to have contact with anyone younger than 18, according to the release.

His next court date is scheduled for 9 a.m. Nov. 28.
