Lombard seeks Senior of the Year nominations

Lombard is seeking nominations for its 16th annual Senior of the Year Awards. The village recognizes outstanding seniors who volunteer or go above and beyond to positively benefit the Lombard community.

Nominees must have a Lombard home mailing address and be 65 years of age or older. Nominations must include a statement of 50 words or less on why the nominee should be considered. A short nominee biography also is requested.

The nomination deadline is 4:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, with voting and selection of winners by the Community Relations Committee on Monday, Sept. 13. Nominees and winners will be notified and announced publicly.
