Grains mostly lower livestock mixed.
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly lower on Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Dec. lost 4.75 cents at $7.82 a bushel; Dec. corn fell 4 cents at $5.7975 a bushel; Mar. oats was off .50 cent at $7.1175 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans was up 2.50 cents at $12.5425 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Dec. live cattle was up .20 cent at $1.3715 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle rose .30 cent at $1.6557 a pound; Dec. lean hogs was off .28 cent at $.7227 a pound.
