Thunder waive 4 as regular season approaches
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma City Thunder have waived four players ahead of their season opener Tuesday at Golden State.
The team waived guard Abdul Gaddy, forward Donte Grantham, guard Scotty Hopson, and forward Dez Wells. The Thunder made the announcement in a news release Friday.
Gaddy played in all four preseason games and averaged 1.0 point, 1.8 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 6.6 minutes per contest. Grantham, Hopson and Wells were signed on Oct. 10 and did not play in the preseason.
