Girls soccer: Bartlett downs Oswego

Sarah Jurek scored a first-half goal off an assist from Alyssa Modugno as the Bartlett girls soccer team defeated Oswego 1-0 Wednesday in a nonconference game.

Teagan Noesen (3 saves) and Nykia Wetterman (2 saves) split time in goal for the Hawks (2-1).

Dundee-Crown 2, Montini 0: At the Elk Grove tournament, Katelyn Skibinski scored both goals for the Chargers, who won their first game of the season. Braylin Mensik had an assist. Diana Santillan-Ceja was in goal for D-C (1-3) but didn't have to make any saves.
