Let's prove we learned

I grew up in Milwaukee, and 1957 was the year of the Braves winning the NL pennant and the World Series over Micky Mantle's Yankees. Yes, I was a youngster, but I remember people talking about the Asian flu. (H2N2). However, not as much talk as the Braves players and the World Series.

Worldwide 1.1 million people died, 116,000 in the U.S. I know COVID-19 is serious and we need to react accordingly. But 116,000 deaths? Maybe we learned our lesson, and I pray we don't get anywhere near that number in 2020. Let's do our part.
