Algonquin police: Body found in parked car

Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was found inside a parked car Thursday afternoon, Algonquin police said.

Officers discovered the vehicle at 2:11 p.m. in the area of 2700 W. Algonquin Road, just west of Randall Road, while assisting in the search for a missing person from a nearby community, according to a news release.

Officials are working to identify the body, Deputy Chief Ryan Markham said. Foul play is not suspected.
