Mundelein police seek public input for accreditation process

As part of an on-site assessment for the Mundelein Police Department its CALEA (Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies) accreditation, members of the community are invited to offer comments at a public information hearing next month.

The hearing is set for 4 p.m. Monday, March 16, at the Mundelein Police Department Training Room, 221 N. Lake St., Mundelein.

Those unable to attend can offer comments by calling (847) 968-4613 between 12:45 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Monday, March 16. Telephone comments as well as appearances at the public information hearing are limited to 10 minutes and must address the agency's ability to comply with CALEA's Standards.

Written comments can be mailed to the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA), 10306 Eaton Place, Suite 320, Fairfax, VA 22030-2201.
