Buffalo Theatre Ensemble explores relationships in its new season

The season commences Sept. 5 with Jeffrey Hatcher's "Holmes and Watson," which unfolds three years after Sherlock Holmes supposedly fell to his death at Reichenbach Falls. It centers on Dr. Watson, who encounters three men claiming to be the famous sleuth.

Steve Scott directs the revival, which begins previews Jan. 30, 2020.
The season concludes with the suburban premiere of "Naperville," beginning April 30, 2020. The play is by Naperville native and Waubonsie Valley High School graduate Mat Smart.
