Have coffee, chat with Gurnee mayor
Gurnee Mayor Kristina Kovarik will host a "Coffee with the Mayor" event from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Dunkin' at 5414 Grand Ave. The event is an opportunity to talk about issues, ask questions, discuss concerns, offer comments or suggestions, or just have a chance to meet the mayor and have coffee and doughnuts. Kovarik launched the periodic series in 2007 as a way to meet with residents informally, outside of board meetings and other official events.
