Gerhardsson to replace Sundhage as Sweden women's coach
STOCKHOLM (AP) - The Swedish soccer association says Peter Gerhardsson will replace Pia Sundhage as coach of the women's national team after next year's European Championship.
The 57-year-old Gerhardsson has coached Hacken in Sweden's men's league since 2007.
Sundhage led Sweden to a silver medal at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics. She coached the United States women's team from 2007-12.
The women's European Championship will be held in the Netherlands in July and August.
