St. Charles police searching for suspects in Pheasant Run parking lot robbery
St. Charles police are searching for three suspects accused of robbing a male victim in the Pheasant Run parking lot Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities responded about 2:48 p.m. to the resort at 4051 E. Main St. for a report of a robbery, according to a news release from police. The victim told officers two men approached him in the parking lot and demanded his backpack, which contained personal items and an unknown amount of cash.
After the victim handed over his backpack, the two men got into a car driven by a third suspect and drove eastbound on Main Street, police said. Officers searched but were unable to locate the vehicle.
The victim was not injured.
The two suspects who approached the victim were described as Hispanic men in their 20s, police said. One man, who was about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighed 160 pounds, was wearing a dark shirt, blue jeans and a dark hat. The other man was about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighed 140 pounds and had short hair, authorities said.
No description was available for the third suspect driving the car.
