Introducing our Suburban Families newsletter: What to know. Where to go.
When weighing coverage, we aim to keep our readers in mind. In the end, we hope to provide something that appeals to our youngest readers — as well as to seniors who have loyally read us for years.
Often though, in reflecting the world of suburbia, we focus on issues of concern to local families. We offer in-depth coverage of school board elections, follow the latest education news, dive into coverage of prep sports and showcase entertainment options ranging from the hottest theater tickets in town to free concerts, fests and movies in the park.
That's why we have created our first Suburban Families newsletter, sent directly to your inbox. Last week's debut featured a mix of stories tailored to families who live, work and play in the suburbs. Future editions promise more of the same.
The free newsletter's tagline sums up its mission perfectly: What to know. Where to go.
In the coming weeks, subscribers will find back-to-school tips, school board coverage, health guidance, family-friendly fall fun, high school football previews and so much more.
We understand that “family” is not just defined as a married couple with two kids and a minivan. Suburban families include single moms and dads, parents sending kids off to college and retired folks looking for fun outings with the grandkids.
It's challenging to keep up with the news you need to juggle family and work responsibilities, and we want to make that easier for you. That's why we hope you'll check out Suburban Families.
