Nice article about bike safety after Helmut Jahn died. How we need infrastructure to allow bicyclists and cars to coexist. How motorists have to be aware of bikes and their rights to road. This is so true, and the problems are so illustrated by your picture of the now-open Navy Pier flyover. I love the bicyclist riding unconcerned as he is on his cellphone. Let us post some more signs about "watch for bicyclists" and "start seeing motorcycles." How about bicyclists and motorcyclists start obeying rules of the road?
