Letter: Outrageous comment deserved more attention

On Nov. 10, an article on Page 6 of the Daily Herald there described a Democratic spokesman for Lauren Underwood and some very negative comments he tweeted about Republicans. My question is why this landed on Page 6 and not the front page? We all know if this had been a Republican making this comment, there would have been an uproar and much said about the divisiveness of our politics. It would also have been front page news. Funny that Underwood and her staff couldn't be reached for comment. Shouldn't they be denouncing this kind of talk?
