Women's group to host 'Paint and Sip' benefit for Children's Advocacy Center

Local residents are invited to "paint and sip" for a cause this coming Saturday and Sunday at Pinot's Palette, 100 W. Higgins Road, South Barrington, to support the Children's Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County.

The organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides services to abused children in an effort to empower and heal, and prevent future violence against them.

The Saturday event will feature two options for a painting theme, including "White Willow" and "Little Wishes."

The Sunday event will have "Paris Rendezvous" and "Just Breathe" as painting-theme choices. Each fundraiser is a "Paint it Forward" event, and all proceeds from the reservation fee will go directly to the center.

In addition to having fun while supporting a very worthy cause, there will be dozens of raffle items for participants to win as they socialize, paint and sip. Pinot's Palette features a full adult beverage menu.

Women's Hearts for Healing is the group that organizes these events, and is made up of a group of Northwest suburban women whose goal is to provide support for, and increase awareness about the center.

The "Paint and Sip" events will be held from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 4, or 3:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 5.

To register visit www.pinotspalette.com/south%20barrington/events/march and choose a painting option for either day.
