Gene & Georgetti Rosemont Announces New Prime Time Bar Menu And Lineup of Weekly Saturday Night Performers

Gene & Georgetti Rosemont (9421 W. Higgins Rd, Rosemont, IL, 60018) sets the scene as a happy hour and weekend dining and entertainment destination by announcing a new Prime Time Bar Menu, and lineup of live music every Saturday night from 6-10 p.m.

Along with a menu of classic cocktails, spirits and fine wines, guests may now enjoy the Prime Time Bar Menu in the classic lounge setting of the Bar at Gene & Georgetti. Menu items include: a Filet Béarnaise, 4 oz. Filet mignon with steamed asparagus and sauce béarnaise; Prime Rib Sandwich, thin slices of prime rib, served with braised cabbage and horseradish cream; Chicken Salad Pita, chilled diced poached chicken combined with vegetables, served in a pita pocket; Tuna Salad Pita, homemade ahi tuna salad blended with celery and red onion, served in a pita pocket; Fried Calamari; Mussels and Fries; Shrimp Cocktail; Mac and Cheese, orecchiette baked in a creamy cheese sauce, topped with chive-cheddar bread crumbs; and Cottage Fries with Melted Blue Cheese, house specialty fries, topped with black river blue cheese crumbles.

Rosemont also features weekly special musical entertainment every Saturday night beginning this month from 6 - 10 p.m. The January lineup of performers include:

Elizabeth Doyle, Jan. 9 and Jan. 23: Singer, pianist, composer and writer, Doyle was a featured guest on the late Marian McPartland's NPR program Piano Jazz and a magnet at Chicago's famed Pump Room. Her original songs have been sung by over 40 singers and her musical compositions have been featured on many outlets, including BBC Radio, at the Paradiso in Amsterdam, in New York ASCAP new music showcases and the Chicago Humanities Festival.

Bob Solone, Jan. 16: Chicago native Bob Solone is no stranger to the big stage. Bob began performing locally at some of the best clubs in Chicago and internationally, both in Europe and Mexico, back in the 1970s. He has played at many impressive venues, including MGM Grand Hotel and Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, and has recorded with artists including Ester Hanna, Joel Barry and Gwen Pippin. Solone has also played alongside a long list of singers, including Barbara Eden, Debbie Reynolds, Dorothy McGuire, and Sandler & Young.

Andrew Blendermann, Jan. 30: Andrew's repertoire spans over 2,000 songs. He is also involved in theater and accompanies almost every major audition in Chicago. As a vocalist, Andrew has also directed several a cappella groups and is currently singing with Chicago Voice Exchange, three time winners of the Chicago Harmony Sweepstakes.
