Palatine Jaycees to host Family Field Day Sept. 24

The Palatine Jaycees are hosting a Family Field Day from 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 24, at Falcon Park Recreation Center and Field in Palatine.

The event - which will run rain or shine - will teach families fun and economical ways to keep their families fit and active. There also will be giveaways and prizes will be available for children to win.

The event is part of the organization's Healthy Family Initiative.

"Good health is the foundation of a successful community," said Margie Musary, project chair. "We are working with individuals from the Palatine Park District, school district, sports clubs, and community outreach organizations on this initiative."
