Route 60/83 crossing repairs

The Canadian National Railway grade crossing at Route 60/83 grade crossing will be closed for repairs Saturday, Nov. 14 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Mundelein officials said in a news release Friday.

Repairs will require a full road closure and the crossing surface to be removed. Work will be completed in one day.

The detour route will utilize Midlothian Road to the west, Gilmer Road to the south and Diamond Lake Road to east. Road closure signs will be displayed 14 days before the actual road closure.
