Have fun at the beach during Mundelein Community Picnic

The Mundelein Park & Recreation District will hold its annual Community Picnic Saturday, June 17, at Mundelein's Diamond Lake Beach.

This free, all ages event will take place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The picnic will start with Zumba on the beach at 10 a.m. and include opportunities for fun on the lake, including swimming, paddle boats, kayaking, stand-up paddleboards, and even a floating SportsPark. Picnickers can also build sand castles and try their luck at games.

A performance by the Wonder Lake Water Ski Show Team will top off the day at 6 p.m.

Chick-fil-A will on hand selling food, and WXLC will have a remote broadcast from 4-6 p.m.
