Brewery, restaurant team to help homeless
ELMHURST - Revolution Brewing will be at Pints Elmhurst from 7-9 p.m. Jan. 31 collecting gently-used hats and gloves in exchange for brewery swag. The event, called "This Crazy Winter," will benefit the Chicago Coalition For the Homeless. Locally owned and operated, Pints is a neighborhood bar and restaurant that specializes in burgers and craft beer. Owners Jim and Kristi Blessing said that being a part of "This Crazy Winter" was an easy decision. "This is the true definition of a win-win event," said Dave Noble, Pints Elmhurst general manager. "Not only can you help those in need, but you also get some really cool Revolution Brewing swag." Pints will also be featuring Revolution's "A Little Crazy" Belgian Pale Ale on tap during the event. There will also be $8 pulled pork and bacon sandwiches with fries.
