Special designation for Palatine-based Sockers FC Chicago

US Club Soccer, a leading youth organization, has granted a special designation to Palatine-based Sockers FC Chicago. The Palatine organization is now a Players First licensed club. Officials said the designation is youth soccer's "Good Housekeeping Seal," Sockers FC Chicago is one of only 46 clubs recognized nationally. Officials from the national group said the Palatine club is committed to providing a holistic soccer experience for parents and players, which includes emphasizing the development of each individual to his or her full potential, and helping parents make better choices about where their children should play.
