Inaugural plant/flower sale at Green Oaks senior community

An inaugural spring plant/flower sales will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, by the pond near the independent living cottages at Green Oaks Senior Living, 14595 W. Rockland Road, Green Oaks.

The Spectrum retirement community is partnering with Lambs Farm to increase awareness of Lambs' mission to support adults with special needs. Live steel drums, food, and a variety of bedding plants, hanging baskets, ferns, perennials, ornamental grasses, succulents, 'salad' bowls, vegetables and flowers will be available.
