Dundee Township Lions honors volunteers

At the last club meeting, the Dundee Township Lions Club expressed their appreciation for the many volunteers who helped with fundraisers during the past year.

Lion Jim Schuldt, event chairman, praised all the efforts by the volunteers. He noted with all the extra help from young and old the Lions had their best fundraising year.

That money is now being donated to many local community organizations to assist those in need.

Some of the organizations receiving grants are FISH Food Pantry, Boys & Girls Club of Dundee Township, and Elgin Community Crisis Center.
