BERNINA of Naperville holds grand opening

NAPERVILLE - BERNINA of America will be holding a grand opening celebration of its new BERNINA Dealership in Naperville, at 2764 Aurora Ave.

BERNINA of Naperville's grand opening festivities will run through Sunday and will include its first sew-a-thon, starting at 10 a.m. Friday. Experienced and novice sewing artists are encouraged to come make lap quilts for patients at Alden of Waterford, an assisted living facility in Aurora. The sew-a-thon will last through 4 p.m. Sunday.

Activities and sewing demonstrations will be held throughout the day on Saturday. In celebration of the new Tula Pink Special Edition Machines, "unicorns" from Angel Hooves Healing Hearts will be on-site for photos from 11 a.m.-noon. Additionally, product demonstrations will run every 30 minutes starting at 2 p.m. and ending at 7 p.m.
