Join the Elgin mayor for a walk Wednesday

Join a "Walk With the Mayor" from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 15.

Elgin Mayor Dave Kaptain will lead the group through the Buena Vista neighborhood and the Elgin Sports Complex area along Fleetwood Drive on the city's southwest side.

The starting point will be at Buena Vista, 1285 Fleetwood Drive.

Bring your questions, and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Three lucky walkers will win a gift card to the Elgin Fresh Market.
