Culver's of Buffalo Grove To Host Fundraiser for Local Man Battling Cancer May 8
Culver's of Buffalo Grove will host a special 'Share Night' from 4-10 p.m. on Monday, May 8, to help support the family of Wheeling's Ken Ritz, a member of Buffalo Grove's St. Mary Parish Community who was recently diagnosed with Cancer.
Located at 450 McHenry Road, Culver's of Buffalo Grove will donate 20-percent of group sales that night to the Ritz family to help with mounting medical bills. Guests must mention the "Ritz Family Fundraiser" so that appropriate funds can be earmarked during the fundraiser for the Ritz family.
Ken Ritz is an Eagle Scout with Troop 140, while his 17-year-old son, Henry, is a Boy Scout working on his Eagle rank project. Ritz works as a mechanic for a local auto dealership, is loving husband to wife, Nancy, and has a 14-year-old daughter who attends London Middle School.
"Culver's is proud to support Ken and his family," said manager Anne Galla, whose husband and son were formally members of Troop 140. "We are a close knit community here in Buffalo Grove and the nearby communities. Our guests are our number one priority and community involvement plays an integral role in the overall brand identity of Culver's."
