Construction set for Westmore-Meyers Road in Lombard

Westmore-Meyers Road, between Roosevelt and St. Charles roads in Lombard, will be under construction for upgrade infrastructure improvements beginning in mid-September.

The upgrades will include roadway resurfacing (without any changes to the existing lane configuration) and path crossing improvements at both the Great Western Trail and Illinois Prairie Path in order to improve safety.

Motorists should expect lane closures and travel delays throughout the duration of the project.

This project involves the village, DuPage County and the Illinois Department of Transportation and is subject to the state's regulations and requirements.

Most driveways are anticipated to remain accessible throughout the project. Motorists and residents are reminded to exercise caution when navigating construction zones and to obey all traffic laws.
