What is different?

Make a list of governments that, within the memories of people living today, have said to a group of its citizens: We don't like you; If you are employed by government you will be fired; If you apply for governmental employment you will be rejected; If you are employed by a private business you are to be fired; If you apply for private employment you are to be denied: You are forbidden to enter governmental buildings and you are to be forbidden to enter private businesses. Then ask: Are today's governments better than those on the list?
