CSN Chicago to telecast Arlington Million on Aug. 13

For the first time since 2010, the Arlington Million will air on Comcast SportsNet Chicago, track officials announced on Wednesday.

CSN Chicago will provide live coverage from 4:30-5:30 p.m. during the International Festival of Racing, which features three Grade I races that day: The Million, Beverly D. and Secretariat Stakes. The broadcast will carry the Arlington Million live and feature taped coverage of the Beverly D.

The broadcast team includes Howard Sudberry, Eddie Olczyk, Alyssa Ali and David Kaplan. WGN provided coverage of The Million from 2011-2015.

"We are very excited to be able to air this great event on the home of most of Chicago's professional sports teams," said Tony Petrillo, general manager of Arlington International. "This is one of Chicagoland and Illinois' premier international sporting and daylong entertainment events and we are pleased to be able to capture the excitement on television for those that cannot attend in person."

First post on Million Day is 12:15 p.m.
