André Rieu coming to Rosemont in September

André Rieu will bring his Johann Strauss Orchestra to Rosemont in September.

A presale started Thursday morning at ticketmaster.com, with general tickets going on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

Rieu, the Dutch violinist and conductor, will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, at the Allstate Arena, as part of his 2018 world tour, which includes stops throughout the United States and Europe.

Rieu attracts more than 600,000 concertgoers a year, and has sold 40 million CDs and DVDs.
