Grains higher, Livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower on Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May was up 9.50 cents at $10.7875 a bushel; Mar. corn advanced 19.50 cents at $7.5250 a bushel; Mar. oats rose 16 cents at $6.7350 a bushel; while Mar. soybeans gained 18.25 cents at $16.7175 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Apr. live cattle fell 1.30 cents at $1.3962 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle was off .50 cent at $1.5690 a pound; Apr. lean hogs lost 1.35 cents at $1.02 a pound.
