Business Wire

BUFFALO GROVE - Ameda Inc. said it was acquired the line of Penguin Nutritional Warming products from Creche Innovations of Stillwell, Kansas.

With its established position in hospitals, Ameda is able to expand its line of products to the milk warming technology for babies in Neonatal Intensive Care Units.

"Acquiring the Penguin line of Nutritional Warming products provides a unique opportunity for Ameda to expand its product offerings in the NICU, and is the first of many new key initiatives the company will be undertaking to create a new Ameda," said Dale Clendon, President and Chief Executive Officer.

"Ameda's approach to the industry, of putting babies and mothers first, aligns perfectly with our vision and goals for the Penguin. We are pleased to have connected with a company, whose founder's lifelong dedication, was to develop products that were best for mom and baby," said Scott Norman, Chief Executive Officer of Creche Innovations.
