No need to upgrade Olympic Park pool

You have got to be kidding me and every other taxpayer in Arlington Heights! You argue about $22,000. Get a grip.

We have, and have paid for a new pool with everything anyone could want at Prospect High School, that sits empty and unused 80 percent or more of the time. Does not the term "intergovernmental agreement" mean anything to you? Do that, then put an additional bronze memorial with all your names on it at this existing facility.

Start utilizing the facilities we have before you continue down the path of building something we already have. (All the gyms at how many grade, middle school and high schools in just this town alone).

Have we not learned anything from the Taj Mahal we just recently built for our current city hall, fire station and soon to be completed police department building?

"New" is not the answer to every issue. Prudent fiscal management needs to be a new priority.
