Kane County

• Harmoni M. Vincent, 25, of the 1100 block of Arnold Street, Sandwich, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance and improper lane use after a crash about 5:31 p.m. Oct. 18 on Dauberman Road, north of I-88 near Elburn, according to a sheriff's report.

Batavia

• Michael J. Fox, 22, of the 200 block of North Batavia Avenue, Batavia, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after a traffic stop at 6:21 p.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of North Batavia Avenue, according to police. He also was charged with felony criminal damage to government supported property as he is accused of kicking the inside of a police squad car, causing more than $2,500 damage, court records show.

• Columns supporting the city gazebo at 151 N. Island Ave. were reported damaged at 1:26 p.m. Wednesday and it will cost an estimated $250 to repair.

• A padlock was cut at a business on the 1100 block of Pierson Drive and $700 stolen, it was reported at 7:53 p.m. Tuesday.
