A leader's disdain
You've heard this before. It's not new. History has a tendency of repeating itself.
Medieval aristocracy looked upon the masses with disdain as mere vassals. Riding roughshod against the populace had devastating effects. King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette eventually found their comeuppance.
And so it is today. Look no further than Queen of the West, Nancy Pelosi and her minions. They eschewed any subsequent COVID-19 legislation when it was in dire need to the detriment of American workers, you and myself, and businesses. Her alarming rationale, if you did not hear what she said on Dec. 4, was "we have a new president and a vaccine." Thus, she's now supporting a scaled-down effort. When they could have stepped up, they let us down. This is how they think - not caring for the forgotten, common man. Warms the cockles of your heart, doesn't it? Remember that.
