North Central announces performing arts season
Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood, The Texas Tenors, Terry Barber's "Mercury: A Story Celebrating Freddie Mercury's Life and Music" and The Subdudes are just a few of the featured artists in the 2019-2020 Fine and Performing Arts Season at Naperville's North Central College.
"Once again, we're bringing an incredible lineup for the fine and performing arts season at North Central College," said Director of Fine Arts Brian Lynch.
"From the vocal pyrotechnics of Terry Barber in his 'Mercury' performance to the three-time Emmy Award winning Texas Tenors and the comedy legends Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood, we have an exciting collection of firsts for the college.
"We're also bringing back some fan favorites, including Herb Alpert and Lani Hall, the first two artists to sell out the Wentz Concert Hall over 10 years ago."
In December, North Central will once again host the Home for the Holidays series featuring three performances: Canadian Brass, The Texas Tenors' "Deep in the Heart of Christmas" and Robin Spielberg's "Spirit of the Holidays Sing-a-long." Patrons receive 20 percent off tickets to these shows, as well as special offers to area restaurants.
Tickets for individual performances are on sale and season subscribers have the opportunity to select the best seats and save.
Patrons who purchase three or more shows save up to 20 percent on performances by becoming a season subscriber. To purchase a season subscription, call the Box Office at (630) 637-SHOW (7469) or stop by the Box Office in the Fine Arts Center at 171 E. Chicago Ave.
Student and faculty musicians, actors and artists will be featured in numerous North Central College events. Performance information is subject to change. Visit northcentralcollege.edu/show throughout the season to purchase tickets and check for updates.
