Softball: Cary-Grove downs Lakes

Alyssa Gurgone had 2 doubles and 4 RBI Friday to lead Cary-Grove to a 5-4 nonconference softball win over Lakes.

Alea Charlier added 2 doubles for the Trojans (10-18) while Brianne Prank, Colleen Kaveney, Anna Whitaker and Victoria Beatty (RBI) had a double each.

Krissy Weber got the win in the circle, allowing 5 hits and 2 earned runs.
