KANKAKEE, Ill. (AP) - Police in northeastern Illinois say they're investigating four homicides in Pembroke Township, including a triple homicide, which happened in less than 36 hours.

Kankakee County Sheriff Mike Downey said Monday morning that it appears an early Saturday shooting death and a triple homicide discovered Sunday afternoon appear related. The sheriff's office says 46-year-old Ralph Ledet was found shot dead in his driveway about 1 a.m. Saturday. Authorities say Kankakee County deputies investigating a report of three men shot found a father and two sons dead just before 1 p.m. Sunday.

Those victims were identified as 56-year-old Reginald Neal, 24-year-old Dangelo Neal and 21-year-old Davante Hopkins. The Kankakee County coroner plans autopsies Monday morning. Authorities said all three men suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Illinois State Police crime scene technicians processed both scenes.
