Rosemont gets into swing with Chicago Golf Show

Nearly 20,000 golfers are expected in Rosemont this weekend for one of the largest golf shows in the Midwest. The Chicago Golf Show opened Friday at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, 5555 N. River Road, and continues 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.

First held in 1984, it was the first consumer golf show in the United States.

The show has more than 180 vendors, a 4,500-square-foot demo area and appearances by top PGA professionals.
