Theater cancels livestream, readings commemorating Pride month

Pride Films and Plays' livestream, virtual reading of Brad Fraser's "Unidentified Human Remains and the Nature of Love" on Wednesday July 1, has been canceled, a publicist for the theater company confirmed Tuesday.

The virtual reading was one of six Pride in Place events the Chicago theater had scheduled in conjunction with Pride Month.

Also canceled was Sunday's virtual reading of Jonathan Tolins' "The Last Sunday in June," according to the publicist. No reason was given for the cancellations.
