Hersey stays undefeated with win over Wheeling
Hersey under first year Coach Nelson is 7-0. Coach Nelson went with his Sophomore QB Colton Gumino to start the game. Gumino started off quickly with 3 first quarter TDs, 2 passing TDs to his Sophomore TE Logan Farrell. Gumino also had a 2 yard rushing score to make it 21-0 in the first Quarter. Gumino started the 2nd quarter with a 35y TD pass to Carson Grove a junior receiver. Grove is putting up all conference numbers this year as he also had a punt return for a TD in the 2nd quarter as Hersey won the game 49-0. Hersey looks to stay unbeaten against Elk Grove this Friday night.
