Death in Arlington Heights parking garage ruled suicide

A dead body found in a downtown Arlington Heights parking garage Friday night was of a 54-year-old man from Arlington Heights who had committed suicide, the Cook County medical examiner's office ruled Saturday afternoon.

Arlington Heights police said they responded to the underground portion of the garage at 200 W. Campbell St. at about 9 p.m. following a report of a male subject incapacitated in the garage. Police said that upon arrival, police and fire department personnel determined the man was dead, and that the death did not appear to be suspicious.
