Almond Road closure in Gurnee

The village of Gurnee will close a section of Almond Road on Monday morning to allow for the installation of a water main. Almond will be closed between Bittersweet Drive and Washington Street. A detour will be posted to alert motorists of alternative routes during the closure. Almond will be closed during the day while crews work on the water main project but should be open overnight. The water main project is expected to be finished Friday, March 30.
