Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was 3 cents higher at $4.7360 a bushel; May corn was 3.25 cents higher at $3.7140 bushel; May oats was .50 cent higher at $1.96 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 9 cents at $9.0340 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was .28 cent higher at $1.4183 a pound; March feeder cattle was .53 cent higher at $1.6498 a pound; April lean hogs lost .45 cent at $.7085 a pound.
